I just wanted to let everyone know that my team (Lynda, Laura, Julie, and myself) successfully finished the 39.3 mile walk this past weekend. Thanks to you, I raised $2,670 and my team raised $10,418. Thank you all so much.

The weekend was an incredible experience...walking and talking with thousands of people who have all been impacted by breast cancer...being cheered on along the way by so many people...the bikers who were our crossing guards and cheerleaders for the two days...the sweep vans who were always driving by and honking their support as well as picking up people who had reached their limit on the number of miles they could walk...the dancing guys (and girl) in the trailer with the 70's music constantly driving by and giving us energy as well as laughs...the support of the crews in all the rest stops, lunch and dinner. Finally, when we walked the final stretch to the finish with the hundreds of people lining the walk, I must admit I was overcome with emotion mixed with exhaustion. It was a great weekend.

Again, thanks for all your support over the last months during my fundraising and training.

Nimisha
